A set of two Murano glass wall lights, attributed to Toni Zuccheri for Mazzega, 1960s–70s. The drop-shaped shades look like glass caught while still molten, and sit on chrome bases.

Each shade is glossy on one side and sand-textured satin on the other, which spreads the light nicely and shows the depth of the glass. One is clear and caramel, the other clear, so the two are not identical. The backplates are also of different sizes, which is reflected in the price. Both have been rewired and are fully working, with minor signs of age.

All pieces use standard Edison screw fittings: E27 (large, most pendants and sconces) or E14 (small, table lamps and multi-arm chandeliers). A handful of pieces use halogen — noted in the listing. E27 and E26 are interchangeable with a simple ring adapter.

These are straightforward socket circuits with no built-in electronics, so they're fully voltage-agnostic — just fit a bulb rated for your local voltage (110V or 220V) and it works.

Plug-in lamps: you'll need a standard EU-to-local plug adapter (EU Type C/F to US Type A/B, UK Type G, AU Type I, etc.). No voltage converter required.

Outside the EU, please have a local electrician check the lamp before use.

Every vintage piece here was blown and shaped by hand in Italy, most of it in Murano glass, and no two are exactly alike. Lighting from those decades was made to last, with thick glass, solid metal and careful proportions, and it gives the soft, warm glow that new lamps rarely manage. It is sculpture as much as light: it moves with you from home to home, keeps its value, and stays beautiful for another fifty years.
