Description
A rare and highly collectible set of two Murano glass wall light fixtures attributed to Toni Zuccheri for Mazzega, showcasing the organic forms and richly textured surfaces that defined Italian art glass lighting of the 1960s and 1970s. The sculptural drop-shaped shades evoke molten glass captured in motion — fluid, sensuous, and deeply expressive of the Mazzega aesthetic.
Each shade displays two contrasting finishes: a smooth glossy exterior on one side and a glass-sand satin texture on the other, producing beautiful light diffusion and emphasising the depth and quality of the glass. One shade combines clear and caramel glass; the other is crafted in clear glass — a subtle variation that adds character to the pair. Both are mounted on chrome bases and have been professionally rewired for modern use.
